Wickes expands buying capabilities with new partnership

Wickes has partnered with product sourcing platform RangeMe.

The partnership aims to enhance the home improvement retailer’s product buying capabilities and give it access to more than 200,000 suppliers globally.

Through RangeMe’s platform is designed to give suppliers will gain a more directed journey to presenting their products to Wickes’ buyers.

RangeMe says that it helps retailers and buying teams scale product sourcing efforts with streamlined submissions, discovery tools, and the ‘industry standard digital sell sheet’.

Buyers are also able to filter searches to find brands and products meeting exact sourcing needs.

Andrew Cotterill, director of strategic procurement and responsible sourcing at Wickes, commented: “Wickes are very excited to begin working with RangeMe to expand our access to new products and innovation and to streamline the procurement process.

“RangeMe is the global online platform where retailers and suppliers can discover, connect, and grow their business.”

Cotterill added: “Suppliers can showcase their range, bring new products to market, increase brand visibility, and grow sales, while retail buyers use RangeMe to discover new products, search trends, and communicate directly with brands.”
