Very partners with Amplience for CMS transformation

The Very Group is partnering with Amplience to transform its digital content management system (CMS).

The clothing and homewares retailer said adoption of Amplience’s Dynamic Content Solution will enable it to simplify and speed up the process of managing their digital content across its brands and devices.

The platform enables non-technical team members to easily create and deploy content without a need for technical intervention, which Very said will help realise further efficiencies by enabling technology specialists to focus on more complex tasks.

The partnership is the latest step in Very’s plan to transform their customer experience. Other recent partnerships include aligning with commercetools to boost customer experience and True Fit to offer customers personalised size and fit guidance.

Matt Grest, chief information officer at the Very Group, said: “We’ve already taken some fantastic strides forward with our tech transformation, and I’m proud to be announcing the next big step through this new partnership with Amplience.

“Dynamic Content creates a better, more engaging customer experience, which has never been more important than in today’s competitive online retail environment. We have lots of exciting plans in this space,” he added.

The Amplience partnership is Very’s latest in a range of technology and talent investments aimed at modernising its technology stack towards a Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless architecture (MACH).
