Ocado partners Centrical to 'improve employee experience'

Ocado has partnered with Centrical, the workforce management provider, to improve colleague engagement and employee experience.

The online grocer said Centrical’s platform will integrate with its existing planned technology, communication platforms and employee coaching frameworks to provide an “engaging experience” for both new starters and experienced hires.

Paul Greenwood, director of Ocado’s Sunderland-based customer hub, said: "Here at Ocado's customer hub, we're committed to delivering the absolute best experience for our customers, as well as our employees.”

He continued: “We're delighted to be working with Centrical to enhance our employee experience since we know that an engaged and motivated workforce can have a direct correlation to happy customers and can truly transform business impact and results."

Commenting on the partnership, Gal Rimon, chief executive and founder of Centrical, said: “Over the past few months, our teams have worked closely together to understand our respective businesses, and the impact of even greater colleague engagement within their customer hub.”

Rimon added: “I am personally looking forward to a strong working partnership with Ocado and learning from this company in the months and years ahead."
