Nespresso launches London flagship ‘boutique concept’ store in Covent Garden

Nespresso has announced the launch of its London flagship store in Covent Garden.

The 1,345 sq ft new concept boutique store, which overlooks Covent Garden’s West Piazza, offers several spaces to move through, including a ‘Taste and Discover’ bar area.

This area enables customers to explore their own unique coffee preferences with curated recipes, tasting masterclasses, and sampling of the latest products, including the new summer iced coffee collection.

As well as this, there is a dedicated personalisation area offering bespoke travel mug engravings and gift wrapping.

The company has also included a space for coffee pod recycling and conversations with specialists about the sustainability of its pods.

For the boutique’s unique design, Nespresso worked with British Designer Vicky Charles, founder of Charles & Co, on boutique's design.

This includes feature British-made furniture; a custom U-shaped banquette by George Smith, and a four-meter-wide floral chandelier by Cox London

Anna Lundstrom, chief executive of Nespresso UK&I, said: “Our flagship boutique in Covent Garden showcases Nespresso’s vision for the future of retail — a welcoming space in the heart of London’s vibrant cultural landscape. The boutique experience blends timeless elegance with modern innovation, offering coffee lovers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Nespresso brand, enjoy unforgettable coffee experiences and discover more about their individual coffee tastes — all with the guidance of our passionate and knowledgeable team.”
