Mulberry launches contactless donations

Luxury fashion brand Mulberry has partnered with GoodBox to roll out contactless donations across a number of its stores to help raise funds for charity.

GoodBox describes itself as the world’s first ‘one stop shop’ for contactless giving through its digital fundraising technology.

Mulberry stores in a number of locations around the UK have been fitted with contactless donation devices to raise awareness of The Felix Project, a charitable organisation which delivers surplus food to charities and schools across London.

Mulberry is aiming to help the project provide 100,000 more meals this festive season and with the support of Pello Capital, the specialist independent brokerage, who are sponsoring the devices they are hoping to maximise donations throughout their community.

“The Felix Project is such an important cause and a vital lifeline for so many especially at this time of the year and we are delighted to be able to support them with our devices across Mulberry stores,” said Francesca Hodgson, co-founder and managing director, GoodBox. “Offering a simple contactless donation point has been proven to raise more funds as so many potential donors don’t have cash available.”
