LuisaViaRoma bolsters US digital shopping experience with new partnership

LuisaViaRoma has announced a new partnership with checkout technology company Bolt to support its e-commerce growth in the US.

The luxury fashion brand debuted in the country earlier this year with the opening of a flagship store in New York City alongside new digital experiences for American shoppers.

The retailer aims to use Bolt’s shopping network to improve the checkout experience of its US client base through to a ‘one-click checkout solution’ that does not require a password.

The brand added it is planning a “next phase” that will include the implementation of Bolt in LuisaViaRoma’s mobile app as well as Bolt’s support on the retailer’s activations during Fashion Week in New York.

Justin Grooms, chief executive officer of Bolt, said the partnership aims to help make LuisaViaRoma’s checkout experience “even better for its growing customer base.”

“As we look to accelerate our growth in the US market and differentiate our beloved brand to new shoppers, we look to partners that share our values around innovation, flexibility, and customer experience, we are excited to partner with Bolt,” said Tommaso Maria Andorlini, chief executive officer of LuisaViaRoma.

Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
