Cornish fashion brand Seasalt launches supplier hub

Cornish fashion brand Seasalt has launched a new supplier hub.

The brand said the new hub is designed to support communication and align Seasalt’s suppliers with its wider sustainability strategy.

Seasalt, which is headquartered in Falmouth and was founded in 1981, said it sells online to 157 countries as well as having 70 retail stores across the UK and Ireland.

The new hub was developed in collaboration with Fuse, a learning and knowledge software platform that has been working with Seasalt since January 2020.

Seasalt said 67 fabric, footwear, accessories, and homeware suppliers have now been onboarded to the supplier hub.

“The new system enables us to stay up to date at the touch of a button. It provides all the necessary information around standard operating procedures, and it’s now much easier for us to retrieve, store and locate important content,” said Dipti Thakur, vice president merchandise marketing at Afflatus International - one of those 67 suppliers.

Poundland significantly reduces antisocial behaviour, aggression and shoplifting with Motorola Solutions VT100 body cameras
Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
