European fashion retailer Zalando is boosting its delivery service capabilities across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Through a partnership with parcel delivery, courier and e-commerce logistics specialist Omniva, the retailer is implementing a new network of parcel machines and courier services aimed at ensuring a faster service in the three countries.
Mariliis Karu, market development and strategy lead at Zalando, explained that the partnership will allow it to roll out Saturday delivery in all three countries.
“It also allows us to simplify our return process, offering a convenient label-less return option for enhanced customer experience,” she added.
Daniel Roginski, general manager CEE Zalando, said that the move is in line with the company's plans to expand its shopping club Lounge to new markets.
The company announced it’s launching its shopping club Lounge in Estonia and Latvia within the next few months.
The initiative is an online shopping club for members that offers exclusive deals on fashion, lifestyle and home products and launches new campaigns every day at 7am.
“With Omniva as our strong local partner for all deliveries in the Baltics, we are well-positioned to further develop the customer journey for all Zalando and Lounge by Zalando customers across the region,” Roginski added.
