Payments Awards 2020 winners announced

The 2020 Payments Awards took place yesterday evening, in a virtual ceremony for the first time due to COVID social distancing restrictions.

Among the winners, HSBC bagged the award for best use of biometrics, Coinbase picked up the best contactless payments project, while Pannovate won the best online payments solution for the consumer market.

The annual event, celebrating excellence and innovation in the UK’s payments industry, took place online and can be streamed here.
