Laybuy launches BNPL app

Laybuy has announced the launch of its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) app, which will give UK consumers access to flexible payments across hundreds of brands, including Amazon, eBay, ASOS, and Nike.

The Klarna rival is a leading BNPL company in New Zealand, with a growing presence in the UK and Australia.

The platform enables consumers to pay for items in six installments at 5,000 online stores.

The app also includes travel companies EasyJet and booking.com.

The announcement follows the launch in June of the Laybuy BNPL Mastercard, which allows customers to use BNPL in-store through a digital card stored within the customers smart phone digital wallet.

“Today’s launch is a significant step towards Laybuy’s goal of making Laybuy available everywhere. Not all shops accept BNPL or often it’s a different provider,” said Gary Rohloff, managing director and co-founder, Laybuy. “This is a real game changer and means Laybuy will soon be available in the UK at more than 5,000 brands.”

Rohloff added: “Now people have the choice to shop using Laybuy at Amazon, ASOS, eBay or even EasyJet .”
