FinTech app Karma launches payment service

Karma, a FinTech app which alerts shoppers to price drops and coupons has launched a payment service.

Pay with Karma allows customers to purchase goods across different retailers with multiple payment options including Apple Pay, credit cards and interest free instalment plans.

Karma claims it has four million shoppers who use its platform and the company says that customers will not need to share their payment details with retailers when using the new service.

To promote Pay with Karma, the firm is using 50 influencers from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

Commenting on the launch Jonathan Friedman, co-founder and chief executive of Karma said: "The launch of Pay with Karma demonstrates our commitment to transforming the online shopping experience.”

He added: "For the first time, online shoppers will be able to shop their favourite stores with a single pay point while also getting the lowest price possible. We are also giving shoppers more choices in their payments with the introduction of a Buy Now, Pay Later option, one of the most popular payment choices for Gen Z shoppers. We are proud to drive the future of online shopping."
