Asda is rolling out a major investment programme across stores in Yorkshire.
The move will see the supermarket retailer invest £7.2 million to upgrade stores in Kingswood, Harrogate, York, Pudsey, and Keighley by the end of 2025.
As part of the investment, each of the stores will undergo full shop floor refurbishments, including a "simpler and more intuitive" layout and new feature lighting and neon signage designed to modernise the space.
A further £4.6 million will also be invested in two stores in the surrounding areas of Grimsby and Stockton.
The retailer plans to extend the programme to further UK locations next year.
Work will begin in most stores in September and is expected to take around seven weeks per store.
The upgrades follow the refurbishment of the company's Pilsworth store in Bury earlier this year.
The store reopened in March following a £2 million investment.
