Fast fashion retailer Quiz has chosen Amplience to boost its mobile shopping offering.
The Glasgow-based e-commerce player will use Amplience’s automated content management solutions (CMS) to accelerate the growth of its online shopping business, which last year accounted for 30 per cent of total sales.
Half year results for the six months to September 2018 showed that website sales were up 70 per cent and website traffic increased by 58 per cent year-on-year, driving a 19 per cent increase in group revenue.
Announcing the partnership, Quiz also said that mobile now makes up 80 per cent of total online traffic to its site, thanks to rising popularity of mobile shopping amongst its mostly Millennial customer base.
As a result, the company is investing in its digital offering to optimise the production, management and delivery processes, as well as customer experience.
The implementation of Amplience’s technology is expected to improve the efficiency and productivity of the content team at Quiz by reducing manual tasks through automation.
In addition to this, sales conversion will be improved with optimised imagery to improve site performance across mobile and web.
Haroun Saleemi, head of e-commerce at Quiz, said: “As a trend-led fast fashion brand, achieving a high velocity of content is essential to success – Amplience will ensure that the creative and merchandising teams have all content at their fingertips.”
