In The Style turnover surges by 130%

Online fashion retailer In The Style has reported a rise in annual turnover of 130% to £44.5 million.

The recently floated company said that over the 12 month period, customer generation had increased by 19 per cent to 420,000, which it attributed largely to its influencer partners.

Sales through the proprietary In The Style App increased by over 400 per cent last year, representing 55 per cent of total sales for the period, up from 19 per cent in the previous year.

"We have maintained our strong momentum since our successful IPO and delivered a very good performance for the year,” said Adam Frisby, chief executive and founder of In The Style. “Our collaboration model creates a strong customer connection, drives highly efficient customer acquisition marketing metrics, and gives us exposure to a broad range of customers.”

"We look forward to building on this momentum into FY22 to deliver our growth plans and create further value to all stakeholders"

The company has recently announced a new partnership with Asda, which will see the brand sold across 100 stores.

In April the retailer also announced a collaboration with Stacey Solomon in a move that has been “very well received” by consumers.

Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
