Vinted renews partnership with InPost for international delivery

Second-hand market specialist Vinted has renewed its partnership with InPost for a multi-year delivery contract.

The collaboration will cover the UK, Poland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, with InPost handling Vinted parcels in these countries through its Mondial Relay unit.

The arm provides a range of services primarily focused on international parcel delivery, logistic and e-commerce solutions.

Sellers on the Vinted platform will be able to use InPost's large network of over 82,000 lockers and pick-up and drop-off points (PUDO).

This agreement extends InPost's existing role as a delivery partner for Vinted, with whom it signed a partnership in 2020.

Delivery to InPost lockers aims to offer a more sustainable alternative to delivery options as it can reduce last-mile emissions by up to 98 per cent compared to door-to-door services, the company said in a statement.

InPost recently acquired Yodel, one of the largest parcel delivery providers in the UK, strengthening its position as the third independent logistics operator in the UK and accelerating its growth rate.

Vytautas Atkočaitis, vice president of Vinted Go commented on the collaboration: “This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing our users with efficient, affordable delivery solutions."

Founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska, InPost provides delivery services through its network of almost 47,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and nearly 35,000 pick-up drop-off points (PUDO) in nine countries across Europe, as well as to-door courier and fulfilment services to e-commerce merchants.

In March, Vinted announced a partnership with Checkout.com to use its payment services which led to an acceptance rate increase of 4.15 per cent in 2024, the firm said.
