Tesco to boost product sourcing with new partnership

Tesco has chosen global product sourcing platform RangeMe to help enhance its product buying.

The move comes weeks after Asda announced it would grow its supplier range through a new partnership with the platform, which launched in the UK this summer.

The collaboration will mean the supermarket retailer has access to more than 200,000 suppliers.

RangeMe is now also working with buyers at The Co-op and LloydsPharmacy.

“We launched in the UK a few months ago and today Tesco, the largest grocer and supermarket chain in the country, has joined forces with us,” said Nicky Jackson, chief executive, RangeMe. “We welcome them to our community of top retailers from around the world to transform their product sourcing experience.

“This is also an extraordinary opportunity for British suppliers to showcase their products directly to Tesco buyers and put their best foot forward.”
