Poundland and Dealz to roll out new PoS system

Discount retailers Poundland and Dealz have signed a partnership agreement with retail technology firm Aptos, integrating its point of sale (PoS) solution into their plans for store expansion in the UK and abroad.

The implementation phase of the project commenced on 1 September, and the roll-out will continue in line with Poundland and Dealz’ plans for growth. Aptos will support the opening of their new retail outlets to improve and streamline the customer experience.

Poundland and Dealz are key retail formats within Steinhoff International, a group which serves customers through 40-plus retail brands in 30 countries across Europe, Australasia, Africa and the US.

Steve Towe, chief operating officer at Aptos, said: “We are excited to support Poundland and Dealz with their growth plans, bringing Aptos’ infrastructure at their disposal as they continues to bring their discount format to a broader audience.”
