Maplin partners with Openpay

Maplin, Snug, Tradeprices, and Junior Bambinos have partnered with payment provider Openpay.

Customers at the four brands will now have access to the company’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service.

The service enables consumers to spread the cost of purchases over three to four months.

Arthauss, Beds Online Store, Dartington Crystal and Mood Living have also signed up to the flexible payments option in recent months.

“We’re excited to be joining forces with such an eclectic mix of homeware brands, each one an important retail partnership which further bolsters our presence in a range of consumer markets," said Georgina Whalley, UK chief executive and global CMO of Openpay. "Openpay continues to expand its number of retail brands in the UK and we’re thrilled to maintain momentum as we continue to grow throughout 2021.”

Poundland significantly reduces antisocial behaviour, aggression and shoplifting with Motorola Solutions VT100 body cameras
Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
