Simply Food gets Click & Collect

Marks and Spencer is to offer Click & Collect at 100 Simply Food franchise stores, following a trial at 20 outlets. Based at the likes of railways stations, airports, motorway services and hospitals, they will be up and running with the service by the end of September. The initiative is in addition to Click & Collect at over 300 M&S stores.

David Walmsley, director of M&S.com, says: “Store collection is incredibly popular, with over half of orders picked up from our stores. By extending the service to locations such as railways and service stations that may form part of customers’ daily journey, we hope to make it even easier and more convenient for them to shop with M&S.”

Poundland significantly reduces antisocial behaviour, aggression and shoplifting with Motorola Solutions VT100 body cameras
Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
