Lululemon opens first India store

Lululemon has announced plans to open its first store in India.in Delhi’s DLF Promenade, an expanding shopping mall in the upmarket Vasant Kunj district, located close to Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Expected to open in the autumn, the store will sell Lululemon’s trademark athleisure wear as well as sport-specific clothing for golf, running, tennis, yoga, and more.

It is opening in line with Lululemon’s partnership with the women’s fashion and lifestyle brand Tata CLiQ, which will also launch Lululemon products on its Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion to coincide with the opening.

Sarah Clark, senior vice president EMEA at Lululemon said: “Bringing Lululemon to India is a proud milestone for our teams as we continue to grow our brand around the world.

“To prepare for the opening, we have been working with Tata CLiQ to build relationships with the New Delhi community, which has a vibrant and active consumer base that is looking for premium performance products that blend technical innovation with elevated style.

Lululemon is expanding its retail presence. In February 2025, the clothing retailer opened its new flagship store on London’s Regent Street, the largest of its kind across all of Lululemon’s EMEA sites at 8,923 square feet.

It first announced its partnership with Tata CLiQ in August 2025, with the aim of bringing its product range to Indian customers via stores, ecommerce, and “activations and community experiences”.
