Bang & Olufsen opens experiential flagship store in London

Bang & Olufsen has opened a new flagship store on New Bond Street in Mayfair.

Founded in Struer, Denmark in 1925, Bang & Olufsen is a luxury audio and home entertainment brand.

The 3,000 square foot store, which will open early next year, is part of a 15-year redevelopment of the area.

“Our New Bond Street home will provide a buzzing, vibrant environment perfectly placed to showcase our brand and deliver the magical sound experiences Bang & Olufsen is renowned for," said James Simons, head of retail UK & IE, Bang & Olufsen. "With the Elizabeth line now open, we’re readying ourselves to welcome visitors from all corners of the country to join us in our new London destination, just a two-minute walk from Bond Street station.”

The new store will include an "activation zone" for curated events, including workshops, music, podcast recordings, and special guests.

It will also have a demonstration space designed to create an "immersive experience" in-store.

Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent.
