M&S rolls out new HR tech

Marks & Spencer (M&S) has rolled out new HR technology as part of its digital-first strategy.

The UK retailer chose cloud-based tech from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to help simplify HR processes with self-service capabilities.

27 million records of M&S employees working across 1,450 locations in the UK have been integrated into the new system.

“TCS’ transformation readiness-led approach helped us prepare, plan, and successfully deliver our HR transformation programme and improve the employee experience," said Mark Dickson, chief technology officer group support, M&S. "TCS has a deep understanding of M&S’s business, and this helped us to meet the business objectives of our HR transformation."
