LloydsPharmacy expands Deliveroo partnership

LloydsPharmacy is expanding its existing partnership with Deliveroo.

Over the next few months, Deliveroo will service rapid deliveries for the pharmacy group across an additional 110 UK stores.

The new stores available on Deliveroo include: Bristol, Nottingham, Exeter, Liverpool, Coventry, Manchester, and Newport.

“LloydsPharmacy has provided a vital service throughout the pandemic and ordering from Deliveroo meant people who were self-isolating could have medication delivered to their doors in as little as 30 minutes,” said Carlo Mocci, chief business officer UK&I, Deliveroo. “This partnership has already helped thousands of families and households and we’re looking forward to riding to the rescue of cold, headache and sore-throat sufferers across the UK.”

LloydsPharmacy began its partnership with Deliveroo in 2020 and says that medical essentials can be delivered to households in as little as 30 minutes.

“Although LloydsPharmacy patients can order online for next day delivery, through our extended partnership with Deliveroo, more patients across the UK can access the care supplies they need in just 30 minutes,” said Kevin Birch, chief retail officer, LloydsPharmacy. “We’re committed to improving patient care, giving them greater choice and control as to how, where, and when they access care and medicines. The extension of our partnership with Deliveroo plays an important role in that mission.”
