Just Eat partners with Fleurop for rapid flower delivery in Switzerland

Just Eat has partnered with Swiss florist Fleurop to deliver flowers across ten cities in Switzerland.

Just East said that its customers can now order flowers and plants from 39 Fleurop partner stores and receive them within 45 minutes of placing the order.

Basel, Bern and Zurich are included in the scheme, with Just Eat planning to expand the partnership to other cities in Switzerland, including Geneva, over the coming months.

Just Eat said that it wants to make everyday life easier for its customers and this latest partnership is an example of how it is continually expanding its business.

In partnership with Interflora, Fleurop has around 300 flower shops in Switzerland.

Interflora describes itself as the largest flower delivery network in the world, with over 40,000 flower shops in over 140 countries.

“This partnership offers us another globally recognised channel to reach new target groups” said Jörg Beer, chief executive of Fleurop-Interflora Switzerland. “In addition, Just Eat's established logistics infrastructure enables us to deliver our floral products and matching gift items to the recipients even faster.”
