John Lewis announces partnership with RIXO

John Lewis has announced its largest fashion collaboration to date with RIXO and will sell a range of 44 items in its stores and online.

Launching in October, John Lewis said the exclusive vintage-inspired collection will feature an exclusive floral motif inspired by a block-printed textile from 1849 found in the John Lewis archive, which contains around 30,000 textile designs dating back to 1799.

The collection includes dresses, knitwear, blouses, jackets, skirts, scarves, shoes, and bags.

Rachel Morgans, fashion director at John Lewis, said: "RIXO is an iconic British brand adored by so many, much like John Lewis, so it felt natural to create something special together. We can’t wait to reveal the full collection to our customers later this year."

In February this year, Topshop announced its return to the British Highstreet launching in all 32 John Lewis department stores.

Topshop and its menswear sister brand Topman had been absent from physical retail since 2021, when Arcadia fell into administration and online fashion platform Asos acquired the brands, selling them exclusively online.

The brands staged a tentative comeback last year, first through a concession at luxury department store Liberty in London, then through four John Lewis pop-ups in October.

The launch introduced around 130 styles across womenswear, menswear and footwear, including the brand's signature denim lines. Topman will be stocked in seven of the 32 stores, and John Lewis will serve as the exclusive UK physical retailer for Topshop footwear for the spring/summer 2026 season.
