Homebase announces partnership with Tesco

Homebase has announced a new partnership with Tesco which will see the home and garden retailer bring its products to the supermarket’s UK stores.

The first store opened in Borehamwood last week, with plans to open two others in Walkden and Woolwich next month.

The stores will include a team of experts from Homebase to help advise customers on products.

“We’re really excited to be partnering with Tesco, bringing our home and garden products and expertise to even more local communities,” said Damian McGloughlin, chief executive, Homebase. “We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for customers to shop with us and teaming up with Tesco means we’re able to do just that.”

The Homebase partnership also includes a click and collect service where customers can pick up orders within an hour.

Poundland significantly reduces antisocial behaviour, aggression and shoplifting with Motorola Solutions VT100 body cameras
Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
