Furniture Village launches new website

Furniture Village has teamed up with Greenlight Commerce to release its new website as part of a £1 million investment to enhance the digital and in-store experience for customers.

Furniture Village selected the Demandware Commerce Cloud for its unified commerce platform, which aims to deliver a quick and contemporary design across mobile, tablet and desktop. The solution also integrates with the retailer’s other technology systems, including Amplience, Live Chat and Feefo reviews.

Georgina Stoaling, director of e-commerce at Furniture Village, noted: “With recent research highlighting that more than 40 per cent of shoppers would purchase a major furniture item online, and knowing that the majority of big-ticket transactions involve some element of online interaction, it was essential that we re-platformed in order to deliver an improved experience and achieve our online growth targets.

“We chose Greenlight Commerce for their understanding of what we were trying to achieve in our market, coupled with their knowledge of what is required to launch a Demandware platform within a tight timeframe and to budget.”
