Boots to open second beauty concept store in Bristol

Boots has announced it will open its second beauty-only concept store as the company continues to expand its presence into luxury skincare and cosmetics.

The 11,000 sq ft store will be the company’s first concept store outside of London – with the first and only other Boots Beauty Store opening in 2023 at the redeveloped Battersea Power Station. The new store promises to showcase over 200 brands across skincare, haircare, fragrance and electrical beauty.

Boots added that the store will also stock several UK high street exclusive ranges as well as featuring a dedicated space to explore a new selection of niche and independent fragrances.

In response to the growing demand for South Korean beauty, Boots said the store will feature a large range K-Beauty ranges.

Due to the growing convergence between beauty and wellbeing, Boots said the concept store will also include a new wellness zone selling wellness products such as collagen and supplements.

The store will offer free beauty services, including skin scans, and personalised expert wellness advice delivered by Boots’ specialist team to give customers personalised guidance tailored to their needs.

To support this, Boots said the new store will create 30 specialist roles, including derm-trained pharmacists and specialists for both beauty and wellness.

Boots said the launch of the concept store forms a key part of its beauty transformation programme, which is changing how customers discover beauty products.

The transformation programme has already involved the revamp of over 180 beauty halls to improve layout navigation and product discovery to improve the customer experience.

“Boots is the unrivalled home of beauty in the UK, and this new store gives us the perfect stage to showcase the best of Boots in one of the country’s most vibrant and creative cities,” said Paul Niezawitowski, beauty director at Boots. “We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next Beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more.”
