Asos has launched a new AI-powered supply chain platform to drive greater transparency, resilience, and compliance across its global operations, as part of its Fashion with Integrity strategy.
The retailer said the technology will deliver real-time visibility into its supply chain, from Tier 1 suppliers down to farm level (Tier 5), enabling end-to-end mapping and product-level traceability. Asos expects this investment in traceability infrastructure to strengthen risk management, streamline compliance, and allow for more effective due diligence in the face of evolving global regulations.
The platform will centralise compliance documentation and provide configurable analytics and reporting tools to support supplier collaboration and ESG reporting. Asos says these features will help the business adapt to growth and regulatory change, while reinforcing its commitment to ethical sourcing and responsible fashion.
The platform, developed by supply chain technology specialist TrusTrace, will also support Asos’s suppliers in implementing improvements throughout the value chain.
Elena Martínez Ortiz, executive vice president of product at Asos, said: “Our partnership with TrusTrace is a key milestone in our updated Fashion with Integrity programme. TrusTrace enables us to improve product traceability, helping us meet compliance standards, understand and address risks, and boost resilience in our supply chain by supporting our suppliers to implement improvements.”
Asos added that the new infrastructure is designed to be secure, scalable, and flexible, ensuring the company remains responsive to business growth and future regulatory demands.
