E-vouchers offer new way to pay

epay Ltd have announced they will distribute Zynga Game Cards as e-vouchers through 6,000 independent UK stores. The move is part of their partnership with Zynga announced earlier this year.

Zynga has 232 million monthly active users playing their games, which include CityVille, CastleVille, FarmVille, Zynga Poker and Words With Friends. Zynga Game Cards provide a convenient payment option for players to buy virtual goods.

A consumer can purchase a £5, £10 or £25 e-voucher from their local independent retailer, then log into their Zynga account online to enter the PIN found on the e-voucher. The credit is then applied to their online account.

Jason Thompson, managing director at epay UK, says: “Zynga Game Cards are well suited to convenience stores as they allow players to buy gaming cards, then purchase online content securely. We are keen to support our retailers in attracting the right customer base and successfully marketing Zynga Game Cards to maximise return.”
