Card processor, Streamline, has announced a series of measures to help SMEs impacted by the recent riots. They will supply merchants with replacement terminals free of charge and waive monthly fees, in an attempt to ease the pain for retailer and help its customers to get back on track.
Ron Kalifa, CEO of WorldPay, parent company to Streamline, comments: “Our SME customers are of paramount importance to us. We wanted to introduce some immediate and very tangible measures that would assist those affected by the riots in re-building their businesses, helping them to return to normal trading over the coming months.
“We hope that these measures will help to relieve some of the financial burden on our customers at such a difficult time and help those businesses worst affected to get back on track.”
