Snow Board Shop's new e-commerce site

The Snow Board Shop has launched their new and improved website www.thesnowboardshop.co.uk. Not just an e-commerce site, the retailer's online platform also visually generates the look, feel and atmosphere of this exciting winter sport.

The Snowboard Shop, based in Fleet Hampshire opened for the first time in October 2007 and went straight onto the web with an online shopping option. However, it became evident that their site was starting to look dated and this coupled with security issues led to the development of a detailed brief for a completely new website.

The new website features the latest e-commerce functions, with links to all the relevant social media sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. A blog has been included to enable customers to keep up-to-date with the latest sports news and embedded videos provide even more product information.

Also featured is a sign-up for a regular online newsletter with information on latest offers, new products plus a review section for each product featuring customer feedback. You can also pick up the latest snow reports and updates.

The Snow Board Shop chose Iconography to deliver the e-commerce solution. Darren James William, managing director, Snow Board Shop, says: "We are really pleased with the end result. We were immediately impressed with the Iconography team, who took a lot of time to understand our business – the result is an slick site that works well and captures the buzz of our business."
