Reiss offer tax free shopping in-store

High end fashion retailer, Reiss, will deploy new technology in their UK stores allowing overseas customers to purchase tax free clothing. Through using Torex Retail-J, the luxury retailer, which has over 100 stores worldwide, will now be able to offer a tax free shopping facility through its PoS, catering for its overseas visitors, who are entitled to claim tax back.

This will streamline the transaction process for customers, which is envisaged to deliver a significant uplift in sales as a result. Retail-J, an integrated, web-enabled suite of in-store and central applications, gives Reiss the foundation to integrate its shopping channels and improve visibility into its trading performance helping the company to learn more about its customers’ preferences and buying patterns.

The system also provides a platform that will support Reiss' international expansion strategy while remaining fully PCI DSS compliant and will take advantage of existing PoS hardware and gift card facility.
