One iota has integrated its MESH technology platform with PayPal’s Mobile Express Checkout, allowing brands and retailers to utilise the ‘two-click’ mobile payment system on their m-commerce sites.

PayPal’s innovative payment option enhances the transaction process on mobile-optimised sites, enabling shoppers to checkout securely and quickly, using only two clicks to complete a payment.

One iota’s customers will now be able to run PayPal Mobile Express Checkout alongside their existing payment systems, to offer shoppers an efficient, alternative checkout facility.

Damian Hanson, CEO at One iota, commented: “We’re delighted to be able to provide this optimised payment system as standard, it’ll provide our clients with even more capabilities on their mCommerce sites. The Mobile Express Checkout bolsters our existing software-as-a-service technology, so we’re thrilled to have this capability within our platform.

“mCommerce has continued to gain momentum throughout 2011, with 28 per cent of British smartphone users currently making purchases from their devices. It’s now vital for brands and retailers to be able to offer a quick and secure checkout process to their customers.”
