Blockchain with everything - Long Island rebrands

Remember the turn of the century when merely adding dot com to the end of a company sent the City into fits of delight? Well you need not be nostalgic any longer as exactly the same thing has happened again with blockchain.

Proof of this comes with drinks maker Long Island Iced Tea Corporation recently rebranding as Long Blockchain Corporation – a move which has seen its shares nearly triple in value. Which really isn’t a bad result for the struggling Hicksville-based drinks company, especially as it has historically had nothing to do with blockchain in any traditional sense.

Long Blockchain Corporation will, however, now be seeking partnerships and investments in blockchain technology, alongside its traditional drinks business.
