How businesses can use Google+

Intranet Future is organising what it believes is the first ever UK training course on new social network Google+. The three hour session in October aims to give business people the skills, knowledge and tools to use Google+ to increase sales and improve customer service.

Using Google+ will enhance a company’s profile on Google search page results and enable them to reach people who use Google tools for their online activity. The new social network was launched on 28 June and was initially described by Google as a project, with participation by invitation only.

It attracted more than 20 million users in its first month alone.

Google+ integrates Gmail, Google Profiles and Google Buzz and introduces new features called Circles, Hangouts, Sparks, and Huddles, with profiles for businesses expected to follow in October.
