No reason to cry for Boohoo.com

Boohoo.com saw extraordinary growth in November to shoot into the ChannelAdvisor UK f-commerce index as a new entry.

Boohoo (ranked 23rd in the Top 25 list) nearly doubled its Facebook fan count in November, adding 92,316 fans to take its total to 200,994. It was able to do this through interacting with fans online, a wide range of online and offline advertising, and running no less than three Facebook competitions, including one based on X Factor.

Overall, eBuyer was the big winner in November, experiencing a 178 per cent increase in fans, which could be linked to a competition it’s running where fans can win a Mini.

The upper echelons of the UK f-commerce index continue to be dominated by fashion retailers Topshop (1,732,759 fans), ASOS (1,396,591), New Look (1,155,623) and River Island (1,069.156).
