Westfield launches Sony Music showcase

Westfield has teamed up with Sony Music to showcase music and video from the record label across digital screens at their new shopping centre. The company’s recently opened Stratford City location in London boasts LCD video walls and revolving LCD screens which will play music and videos from Sony Music artists including Beyoncé, JLS and Westlife.

The Music News Channel will run an Artist of the Week slot, which will feature exclusive video content from Sony Music, artist history and news while encouraging shoppers to buy music at HMV.

Bill Giouroukos, director of operations at Westfield, says: “Our digital spectacular screens offer a platform for brands such as Sony Music to interact with shoppers in a unique, purchase-oriented environment, and we’re delighted to sign this partnership with Sony Music to provide our visitors with a more engaging and cutting-edge shopping experience.”

The deal was brokered by media agency Manning Gottlieb OMD.
