Wipro Retail aids WE Fashion expansion plans

WE Fashion has selected Wipro Retail to implement a warehouse management and merchandise system.

The project has already brought about a number of benefits for the business. Previously it was only able to open men’s fashion stores in Switzerland but, following the roll-out of the Oracle technology, it is also now able to open stores for women in the country. It also has much better visibility of stock across the organisation.

Koen Aben, information services director at WE Europe, says: “We recognise the importance of deploying systems that can not only support our expansion long-term but enables us to maintain an intimate understanding of customer demand. We needed both a WMS and a merchandising system that will support our business aspirations in the long-term. We are looking to continue improving our results and to achieve this we required to have modern and standard technology.”
