Tweet Mirror debuts in Italy

The 'Tweet Mirror', which allows shoppers to post pictures of themselves trying on clothes on Facebook and Twitter, has debuted in Italy. Cache-Cache has the premiere at its boutique in the Milanofiori di Assago shopping centre in Milan.

The interactive mirror uses a high-definition camera to capture images and family and friends can then comment on the outfits.

More and more retailers are trying to expand their business and increase brand recognition by combining online and in-store shopping. Cache-Cache is the first brand to offer customers in Italy the creative, unconventional experience of the Tweet Mirror, which is based on consumer participation and interaction, increases consumer loyalty and encourages brand promotion.

Using a touchscreen and internet connection, the consumer can instantly send a photo to their social network. The Tweet Mirror is available in 10 different language versions and is currently installed in stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, India and China.
