High street and online fashion retailer, Footasylum, has launched a fully transactional m-commerce site to accommodate for the growth in mobile shoppers. Managed by mobile and Facebook commerce provider One iota, the mobile site follows hot-on-the-heels of the successful launch of Footasylum’s Facebook store in July.

One iota will join forces once again with the retailer to launch its fully transactional iPhone application during September – completing a full extension of e-commerce offerings across new channels.

The mobile site raises the bar in terms of m-commerce delivery due to its unique mix of high-end navigation, using HTML5 and CSS3 technology, and optimised express check-out processes. In addition, the site has location-aware browsing and promotional management to provide the best user experience possible, with the entire solution fully integrated into Footasylum’s back office systems.

One iota’s CEO, Damian Hanson, commented: “We’re delighted to launch Footasylum’s mCommerce solution. Our modular Software as a Service offering (SaaS) is proving to be extremely successful, as it takes away the technology and innovation headaches and allows clients to sell quickly across new channels and focus on what they do best.”
