Topshop is still number one on Facebook

ChannelAdvisor have released their monthly league table showing the UK retailers who have the most Facebook fans. Topshop is still number one, with New Look, River Island, ASOS and Next close behind them.

GAME, Phones4U, Argos, Chain Reaction Cycles and Play.com were some of the non-fashion retailers listed in the top 25.

House of Fraser has seen a huge uplift in Facebook fans (over 200 per cent), possibly as a result of their newly-overhauled and re-launched website. Flower giants, Interflora, appear to have found their Facebook feet as well. Although they had a small initial fan base, this has grown that figure by over 150 per cent in the last month.

Kiddicare’s continued good form in the growth charts is indicative of what you can achieve if you have the resource and inclination to fully engage your customers/fans. Another mover in the percentage growth chart is boohoo.com – a ladies’ online fashion retailer and a top ten-visited fashion website last year. They have seen a massive 46 per cent growth in Facebook fans, taking them to just outside the top 25.
