Action sports brand, Animal, has launched a gift card programme in partnership with Ceridian SVS UK Ltd. The clothing retailer wanted to improve their existing consumer offering through the provision of gift cards in both direct and franchise stores, not necessarily conducive to classic closed-loop (single brand) card systems.
SVS devised a solution for a single brand, private label, open-loop system that can be operated in any of the Animal stores, regardless of its business operation model. SVS created an open loop product that can only be used at UK Animal stores and carries only this retailer’s brand.
Chloe Cosby, Retail Operations Manager of Animal says: “Operational challenges meant that we had previously been unable to offer a gift card service to our customers and relied on paper gift vouchers. SVS has overcome those challenges for us and we are thrilled to be able to offer a UK-based gift card programme for our customers.”
