Zalando names new SVP trio

Zalando has announced three additions to the company’s senior leadership team.

Anne Pascual, who joined the e-commerce platform in March 2017, has been promoted to senior vice president of product design, responsible for “translating group strategy into an inspiring, uniting and leading digital experience”.

Chief technology officer Jim Freeman commented: “We are looking forward to next-level digital experience solutions that make a difference to our customers and create memorable moments.”

Astrid Arndt, who joined the company in February 2018, has been promoted to senior vice president of people and organisation, responsible for shaping Zalando's culture and people management.

Meanwhile, Bruno Vanhoorickx will join the company as senior vice president for corporate development on 1 March, directly reporting to co-chief executive Rubin Ritter.

In this newly established role, he will be responsible for identifying, preparing and executing disruptive moves that will help Zalando deliver on the existing platform strategy and beyond.

Vanhoorickx currently works for Bain Capital in London.

Ritter commented: “He will help us to explore new opportunities and new horizons for growth.”
