Eagle Eye partners with Canada’s largest retailer

UK SaaS technology firm Eagle Eye has been working with Loblaw – Canada’s biggest food and pharmacy retailer – to roll out one of the largest digital loyalty programmes in the country.
The Eagle Eye AIR digital marketing platform is now live, enabling the new PC Optimum loyalty programme from Loblaw. The programme combines two Canadian loyalty programmes, PC Plus and Shoppers Optimum, which had eight million and 11 million members respectively prior to the new update.
The PC Optimum programme includes weekly personalised offers for customers, the ability to redeem points for almost any in-store product, and exclusive points-earning and points-redemption events.
Since launching on 1 February 2018, more than six million customers have switched to the new programme, with users earning and redeeming points more than 32 million times in the first three weeks. The programme has also generated more than 1.5 million app or web visits every day since launch, with eight in 10 customers ‘very satisfied’ with the new service.
The Eagle Eye AIR platform provides secure, real-time issuance, management and redemption of digital promotions across all online and in-store purchases. Through the system, Loblaw can vary the proposition (e.g. points or offers) to the customer by division or product category – meaning the retailer can provide personalised offers based on preferred channels or locations.

“With PC Optimum, customers can now earn and redeem points in almost 2,500 locations and online, where they will get targeted, personalized offers on products they buy most often.”
