Health and beauty retailer Bodycare has revealed the location of 17 stores it is set to open across the country this year in a major relaunch of the brand.
Bodycare collapsed into administration in 2025, shuttering all 147 of its locations. Following its rescue by an investment group led by former The Body Shop chief executive Charles Denton, the company announced plans to open 25 new stores this year, with 17 locations now confirmed.
The first site, in Sheffield’s central Moor Quarter, is set to reopen in July with further stores “coming soon,” according to its website. Other locations are spread around the country, including Leeds, Sunderland, Glasgow and Cwmbran.
The company intends to open at least 15 stores this year and says on its website that more are on their way.
The return to the High Street comes alongside a major rebrand, with stores set to include K-beauty and fine fragrance ranges, free in-store content creator studios complete with equipment and lighting, and professional piercing studios.
Korean beauty products are increasingly popular in the UK, with department store John Lewis opening concessions for a range of products imported by Skin Cupid in April.
Bodycare’s managing director, David Stern, told Scottish paper The National that: “Since the acquisition of Bodycare, the team has reimagined both the in-store experience and the brand's digital presence. The response from the industry to date has reinforced our confidence to scale quickly and we are looking forward to welcoming customers back as soon as possible.”
