hybris has released hybris B2B Commerce, its revised B2B multi-channel commerce system. The company is aiming with this release to address the increasingly complex needs of B2B organisations.

Building on the best practices and experience found in its B2C solutions, hybris B2B Commerce is an enterprise-class multi-channel commerce system which enables B2B organisations to manage multiple sales and communications channels on a single platform.

Ariel Lüdi, CEO of hybris, says: “Typically B2B products require a more involved sales cycle, with B2B organizations managing a com¬plex ecosystem of suppliers, distributors, and partners each often requiring different terms and contracts. Successful B2B commerce requires a solution that can handle this complexity of relationships and transactions. hybris B2B Commerce supports the most complex, global organisations, enabling organisations to manage all their channels, business models, markets and processes from a single platform.”

“The explosion of smartphones, mobile devices, websites, and other similar technologies has created a countless number of touchpoints,” Lüdi adds. “When these various touch points aren’t “aware” of each other, the customer experience can be disjointed, which can hurt the relationship. Our new system provides organisations with true B2B multi-channel capabilities, enabling them to offer an integrated, holistic customer experience across all channels. Depending on a B2B organisation’s needs, we help them to either focus on one channel first (typically online), or to adopt multiple channels (online, mobile, PoS and call centre) while shifting their commerce strat¬egy to multi-channel and cross channel.”
