Usablenet powers ahead with m-commerce

Usablenet has announced that its platform powers three of the top four fastest m-commerce sites in the US and the top four fastest in the UK. The stats come courtesy of Keynote Systems’ 29 March Mobile Commerce Performance Index.

The internet and mobile cloud monitoring authority reported that among the mobile sites with the fastest download speeds are StrandBooks.com, Dell, Walgreens, Victoria’s Secret, Sunglass Hut in the US and Tesco, Next, Marks and Spencer, John Lewis in the UK - all of which are powered by Usablenet’s platform.

“Usablenet is proud to power the fastest m-commerce sites and multichannel solutions in the world,” says Nick Taylor, president at Usablenet. “As speed is the most essential benchmark to judge mobile usability, it is vital for brands to consider the speed and overall usability of their mobile sites in order to drive brand loyalty, traffic, and sales, in addition to preventing poor user experiences that can result in customer losses.”
