DSG international is to implement Torex's Productivity Management tools across all the stores it operates in the UK.

After running the solution in 160 PC World stores across the UK since 2003, DSGi is extending its use to a further 510 Currys, Currys.digital and Dixons Travel (airport) stores. The system enables retailers to optimise staffing levels within stores to better cater for the specific requirements of the local markets they serve.

Jon Naylor, head of productivity at DSGi, says: "By implementing Torex Productivity Management across all our UK stores, we can ensure that our business is in the best possible position to adapt to the changing conditions of the local retail marketplace. Our goal is to offer our customers an unbeatable combination of Value, Choice and Service. By tailoring our resources to suit each store's particular requirements, the solution will help us achieve this."
