TJ Hughes has implemented Torex PoS across 52 of its department stores in the UK.

Deployed three months ahead of schedule, the solution allows managers to track key information, including stock levels, sales, discounts, and detailed financial data, making this available to head office staff nearly in real-time. By improving visibility around its operations, Torex P0S will offer increased support for decision-making by the chain's buying and merchandising team, as well as board members and financial analysts.

"We've been working with Torex for several years, and have been impressed with both their technology and their deep understanding of our business," says Alan Rawstron, head of IT at TJ Hughes. "Torex Retail PoS was therefore the obvious choice to meet our business objectives of achieving PCI DSS compliance and improving management information. The visibility that it provides across our operations will help us become a better managed business, be far more nimble in identifying and reacting to market changes and ultimately deliver an enhanced experience for our customers."
